The woman who closely watched

As I learned to play a new dice game

William who laid on piss soaked newspapers

In front of a Pasadena fluff ‘n’ fold

A man who called himself Barabbas

As we hid from the Venice Beach rain

Each flooded me with their tears

As I watched . . .

And cried . . .

And wondered . . .
